Video Idea

For the video we need a narative and a series of live band footage so it sticks within the lines of a pop-punk video.

For the live band footage we are going to stage a house party and get the band to perform the song there infront of a crowd of 'partying people'. This will fit in with the conventions of a poppunk video because you generally see scenes like this in this type of video.

We are going to insert a narrative throughout the video. The narrative will feature a boyfriend arriving at a party at his girlfriends house and then the boyfriend ignoring the girl for his friends. The girl will then proceed to try to make the boy jelouse wich will then lead to an argument and inevitably the end of the relationship.
In the narrative there will also be some reference to the lyrics. For example when the song says "She said don't let my door hit your ass" we will show her slamming the door on her ex boyfriend  At the end of the video the couple do get back together after a series of events like when the girl chases the boy through the house.
